Samaritan Health Clinic is always in need of volunteers. There are many ways you can get involved.

Here are a few things you can do today.

Volunteer as an Interviewer

Interview patients to make sure they meet clinic guidelines.

We need Dentists and medical Providers

(must be licensed in SC)
We need dentists willing to give 2 hours once a year, quarter, month, whatever you can give to help get our patients out of pain. We have a brand new dental facility with 2 operatories and digital x-ray equipment.

Medical doctors or nurse practitoners are needed to help continue providing a medical home to our patients.

Clinic Requirements for all Patients:

  1. Patient must not be on any Health insurance plans, this includes private, Medicaid or Medicare (available at age 65).
  2. Patient must have proof of residency for Pickens County.  These are the recommended documents that we accept:
    – Utility Bill (Water, Electric, Gas, landline Phone)
    – Television Bill (Cable, Satellite, U-verse)
    – Lease agreement
    Documents must have patient’s name on bill or name of person listed as living in household.  If not living in household then a signed and dated statement must be included from the named person explaining the situation.
  3. Proof of income for every person living in the home.  These are the recommendeddocuments that we accept:
    – Pay stubs from the most recent pay periods for one month.
    – Signed affidavit from employer if no pay stubs with employer contact phone number.Call employer at time of interview and verify.
    – Disability Award letter
    – Social Security Award letter
    – Child support documentation

  5. Photo ID – (Driver’s License, State ID Card or Passport)

GYN Services
The Pharmacy provides life-sustaining medications. We do not stock any controlled medications.

A GYN Clinic is held 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. Women receive free pap smears, mammograms, and breast exams.
